Appreciate the jadeite with the naked eye?

Not all light is good for the observation of jade, and colored light is easy to interfere and mislead for the identification of jade. Lights that are more suitable for observing jade include natural light that shines back into the window, white light under fluorescent light, and white light from flashlights made from multi-head LEDs.
Look shiny. Looking at the luster is like watching the antique "Baoguang". This distinguishing feature distinguishes the jade a and b goods very effectively. The luster of natural jade (commonly known as "a goods" jade) is a typical glass luster, with a clear, clear feeling. Bleaching treatment of jade (commonly known as "b goods" jade) gloss is poor, often waxy or even resin luster, relatively dull.
Look at the luster technique: swing the jade on the front, back, left and right while observing, and feel the reflective strength and uniformity of the jade through the reflected light on the surface.
Look at the structure. From the structure, it is easy to identify whether it is jade or other jade that is easy to pretend to be jade, whether it is a cargo or a cargo. The unique symbol of jadeite is green, also known as "flies", which is an important basis for the identification of naked eyes. The so-called "flies' wings" are the phenomenon of irregular star-like flaky flashes on the surface or inside of jadeite. Note that it is “irregular star-shaped flaky flashâ€, because marble, some jade containing mica will also appear to flash, but that kind of flash is a regular point flash. With this, you can easily distinguish other imitation jade.
How do you look at the "flies"? Observe the green nature. It must be noted that the light is directed downward from the top of the jade, and the transmitted light cannot be used. Note that the light must be shaken and not moved to a certain place, so the phenomenon is not obvious. There is also a need to have some flaws when observing the "flies":
(1) to observe on the reflective surface of the jade;
(2) Avoid observing the polished parts as much as possible;
(3) The inner ring part should be observed when observing the jade bracelet.
