Textiles will no longer carry out inspection of export commodities
According to the announcement made by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China, the inspection and quarantine agency will no longer carry out inspections of export commodities for general industrial products under the 1507 Customs Codes starting from August 15 this year. This new measure will effectively reduce the burden on China's textile and other foreign trade companies, promote trade facilitation, and ensure the stable growth of China's textile trade. According to this adjustment announcement, China no longer applies export commodity inspections to general industrial manufactured goods under 1507 customs commodity codes. Among them, 1,420 items under the Customs Commodity Code were transferred to the "Exit-and-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Institution's Catalogue of Outbound Commodities Subject to Inspection and Quarantine"; the commodities under the 87 Customs Commodity Codes required to implement exit animal and plant quarantine are still retained in the "Immigration Inspection". "Quarantine Inspection Institutions Executing Inspection and Quarantine in Outbound Commodity Catalogues". Export commodities that are no longer subject to statutory inspections are classified into 47 categories, 47 subcategories, 1507 customs codes, which account for 70.43% of the 2141 customs commodity codes that were included in the legal inspection list in 2013.
